How to Remove & Ship Your Instrument Cluster

Step 1: Disconnect the Battery

Disconnect your vehicle battery before starting to avoid electrical damage.

Step 2: Remove the Instrument Cluster

  • Remove trim panels around the cluster
  • Unscrew mounting screws
  • Gently pull the cluster forward
  • Disconnect wiring harnesses

Tip: Take photos during removal for easier reinstallation.

Step 3: Package the Unit

  • Wrap in 2–3 layers of bubble wrap
  • Place in a sturdy box with padding
  • Use an anti-static bag if available
  • Do not use envelopes

Step 4: Include Information

  • Name and return address
  • Order number
  • Contact details
  • Description of the issue

Step 5: Ship Your Package

Use a trackable carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS) and consider insurance.

Step 6: Reinstall

  • Reconnect wiring
  • Reinstall cluster and trim
  • Reconnect battery
